Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for paid orders placed through BiteDesk, including approval criteria and processing timelines.

Order Cancellation

  • Cancellation is generally not possible once an order is confirmed and payment succeeds
  • Requests made before preparation begins may be reviewed by support
  • Approval depends on kitchen discretion and timing

When Refunds Are Available

  • Payment was deducted but the order was not created due to a technical issue
  • Duplicate payment was made for the same order
  • An item paid for was unavailable and could not be served or substituted

When Refunds Are Not Available

  • The order was successfully prepared and redeemed using the QR code
  • The customer failed to collect the order during the active meal slot
  • The order was complimentary or had zero value

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued through Razorpay to the original payment method
  • Refund initiation usually takes 3–5 business days after approval
  • Bank processing may take an additional 5–7 business days
